Fashion: Daytime dresses

Hello Fashionistas! Now that the weather is starting to get warm, one of my favorite things to wear is dresses! They are so simple! You just put it on and you have a  complete outfit! No need to match bottoms and tops! I found 3 daytime dresses that I thought are super cute, and wanted to share with you! Hope you enjoy!

How cute is this dress?!?! I love all the embroidering, it makes it look super girly and fun. I also like how it is pleated. I tend to buy dresses with a defined waist because they showcase your smallest area and makes you look slimmer! I would wear a cute white pair of sandals, a chunky bracelet, some hoops and away I'd go!
This dress is from Alight for $55 and comes in many colors!
Cream Floral Belted Party Dress SKU: 548139
I love this floral dress! Floral prints are so in style this season. This dress screams fun, doesn't? If you are uncomfortable wearing strapless dresses, you could easily pair this with a jean jacket, or a sweater. I love that it comes belted so it defines the waist. I would wear this with a pair of wedges,  bangles, and fun earrings! I found this dress on Torrid for $65.50

Floral skirt twofer dress by Lane Bryant
I love the contrast between skirt and the top. I love the colors, they are so bright and fun! I like that it has sleeves, sometimes you do not want to show your arms. Once again I feel like a broken record but it has a defined waist, to make your look slimmer. This dress would  be cute with a pair of sandals, or flats. I found it at Lane Bryant for $69.50.

Do you enjoy wearing dresses in the warm weather? Leave me some comments about your favorite dresses.

Makeup Haul: ELF

Hello Fashionistas! About 2 weeks ago ELF e-mailed me a coupon code for 6 free lip products with a purchase of I think $25. Well, I went a bit crazy...

The first two things I picked up are brush cleaners. I got the brush shampoo and the daily cleaner. I have been obsessed with my new Sigma brushes lately, and I want them to last a long time so I thought I would get some cleaners. I believe both cost $3.

Next, I bought some skin care items. I love trying new skin care products, especially ones that are so inexpensive. I have oily skin, so through out the day I need something to help mattify my face. I picked up the shine eraser ($1). I already have a package of this product, but I like it so much that I like to keep one in my book-bag for school, and my handbag. These little sheets of paper absorb all the oils for your skin while keeping your makeup in place. I also picked up the zit zapper ($1). I like to take care of zits when I feel them coming. I think that most of the time, if you feel a zit coming, and you put something on it right away it will take care of it. For that reason I thought the zit zapper would be nice to carry in my handbag. I also got a makeup remover pen ($3). I think this will be nice for those times when you want to clean up and create a clean line around your eye makeup, or when you blink and smear your wet mascara. It might also be handy just too keep in your handbag for when eyeliner smudges.

I also picked up the 24K 6 piece eyeliner set (I think it is sold out). It comes with a white, black, grey, purple, teal, and bronze eyeliners with a build in sharper in the cap. I love putting colored liner on my bottom lash line, it is a great way to get that pop of color with out looking inappropriate for everyday looks.

As you know I am in love with cream shadows ($3), and well I had to pick up a a few. I got dawn, which is a nice creamy  beige, and eggplant, a deep purple.

I also bought all 6 of the eye shadow quads ($2).They have a wide range of colors from neutral, to smoky, and even colorful. I like that you can mix and match with these quads, which makes them very versatile.

I also bought one glitter shadow ($2) in night owl, and a blush ($2) in flushed.

I got 3 of the matte lip color ($3), in natural, nearly nude, and tea rose. I like to use these as lip liners. I fill in the entire lip and use one of my glosses over it. It makes for a long lasting lip.

The last things I got are 3 lip stains ($3) in mysterious, heat-breaker, and fashionista. These will last you all day.

If you have not tried the ELF brand before, I suggest you do. Their products are very inexpensive and high quality. You can find them at Target, or Eyeslipsface.com. I suggest getting on their mailing list, because you will get coupon codes for free items, and free shipping.

I hope you enjoyed this post, leave me a comment with your favorite elf product.

Chit Chat: Updates :)

Hello Fashionistas! I wanted to update you on a few things. First, I heard back from Sigma, and my E05 brush is on its way.  I guess they just missed it in my order. I received a email about 3 or 4 days after I had sent them a message, so overall I am happy with their customer service.
The second thing I would like to update you on is breaking my bad nail biting habit. I didn't do very well the first week, at all. I would be fine for a day or two and then I would be bored at work and off they would go. But a few days ago I painted my nails with a new nail polish and that seems to help.

Well those are my updates for now. Leave some comments on some posts you would like to see in the future!

Birch Box Haul: March

Hello Fashionistas! I cannot believe that March is half over!! This month is flying by! Well anyway,  I got my Birch Box in the mail yesterday and I thought I would share the products with you and review last months box. This month the theme is spring training.

The first product in my box is Supergoop- a sunscreen wipe with SPF 30. Sunscreen is very important, you need to wear it everyday. I think these wipes will be an easy way to apply sunscreen all over your face. In full size this product comes with 40 packs for $34.

The second product is Kusmi Tea-  a detoxifying blend of green tea and lemongrass. What you put into your body effects you skin, and I am excited to taste this tea. In full size this product comes with 24 tea bags for $21.95.
The next product is Color Club in the color Jackie Oh- This is a pinky purple nail polish. Full size it costs $8.
Next I got this Harvey Prince Yogini perfume. It has notes of sandalwood, Egyptian myrrh and grapefruit. Full size this will cost you between $26-$55.
Next is Kerastase- a oil that will hydrate, smooth and sleekify hair. Full size this product will cost you $54
My last product this month is the Ahava moisturizer- packed with vitamin E and aloe vera to protect skin from environmental irritants. A full size of this product will cost you $38.50. I am disappointed with this last product because I received this in my January box as well. I do like this product, but the point of this service is to try new things.

Last month I was a little disappointed in my Birch box. It seems that they are focusing more in skin care products rather than makeup. I did enjoy the powder puff for on the go touch ups, but that was about it. The eyeliner stickers are not my style and I do not have any dark spots for the Kiehl's dark spot corrector, and to me the face peel is like any other peel I have tried. Overall I was disappointed in my box, and I hope the products get better in the future months.

Little Black Bag Haul: March

Hello Fashionistas! I got my second Little Black Bag (LBB) in the mail today and you seemed to like my first haul so I thought I would make it a monthly topic. This month I got a Kenneth Cole watch, Steve Madden Bracelet, and Robert Rose earrings. Enjoy!

Kenneth Cole New York Petite Classic Square Watch: Retails for $95. I am in LOVE with this watch! The silver and rose gold face makes it so versatile, classy and chic. It has a very nice grey leather band which makes it very classic. The only problem I have with this watch is that hands are very small and that makes it hard to read, but I don't really care because it is so BEAUTIFUL!!! Love it!!!

Steve Madden Safety Pin Charm Bracelet:Retails for $15. This is such a neat bracelet! I love the purple, it is such a great color. This is going to be a great layering piece. The safety pin has Steve Madden on one side and black rhinestones on the other. It also has a Steve Madden tag hanging off the pin. Super cute!!

Robert Rose Floral Earrings: Retails for $12. These earrings are very pretty and highly detailed but are just to big for my ears. They look silly on. The post is on the top of the earring and if it had been in the middle it may have looked better on me. They just hang to low on my ears. They are very pretty, but just do not work for me.

Get your own Little Black Bag here! Leave me a comment about what you got in your LBB! :)

Haul: Sigma Brushes

Hello Fashionistas! I placed a order from Sigma and I would like to share my purchase with you. I wanted to try this brand of brushes because MakeupByTiffanyD, and Michele1218 from YouTube rave about them. About 2 years ago when I really started to love makeup I bought a set of "MAC" brushes off of e-bay, and I'm 99% sure they ripped me off. I did not find the quality to be MAC. I used them anyway because that is what I had.

I've only used these Sigma brushes once and already LOVE them!!! They are so soft, it is almost like getting a face massage while putting on your makeup! I can tell that these are high quality brushes, and are unlike my fake MAC ones. The only problem I had with this company is that I ordered a E05 eyeliner brush in my order , but did not receive it in my package. I'm not sure if they are just sold out, or if it was a mistake. I contacted the company this past Saturday and I am waiting on a response. I will let you know what is going on when I find out.
Here is a list of the brushes I bought:
F50, F80, F40, E60, E70, P80, P86, E25, E45, E35.

They also sent me a travel size E25 as a free gift! YAY!

Here are some pictures from when I opened the box :)
