First I choose a flirty dress from Torrid. I like this because it is sexy without looking like a tramp. The flowing flowery material is so famine and chic. You will look classy and chic in this. The great thing about this dress is that it comes in sizes 1X-4X and only costs $64.50
I would wear a nude wedge with this dress. I opt for a wedge because they are more comfortable and easier to walk in. The last thing you want on a first date is to have your feet hurt and to look like you cannot walk in your heals! I like these from Payless because they come in sizes 5-12 in regular and wide widths. They cost $19.99! What a steal! I actually own these shoes. I wear them all the time and find them very comfortable.
I would wear a pair of bold earrings and skip a necklace because the print is very busy and would look over done with a necklace. I found these at Forever21 for only $5.80! They will add some glam to the look!
I would do a pop of color with a handbag. I choose to use the reddish orange from the dress. I like to use colorful bags, they are fun and complete the outfit. I went with this more rustic bag because I like the contrast of the very famine pattern of the dress and a rustic element. I found this Fossil bag on zappos for $117.99. I like that this bag has a removable strap. You could use this as a clutch or a cross-body. I think I would use the strap because I like the chain detailing.There would be plenty of room for your phone, lip gloss and a small wallet. Everything you need for a date.
To finish this look I would add a belt to help define the waist. By doing this you will showcase the smallest part of your body making you look smaller. I like this one from Lane Bryant for $34.95 because it has a rustic feel like the bag and will complement the colors in the dress nicely.
